A calm, golden face with large, watchful eyes rises through a collage of newspaper print, red blocks and dark city shapes. In the centre, a large pair of spectacles rests like a lens through which the world is seen, covering torn paper and rough, painted textures. A red, flowing figure on the left and a curved line crossing the lower part add movement and tension. The layers of text, colour and texture reflect how news and daily life shape our view. A strong, expressive painting for collectors who love contemporary art with a message.
