I am Soumen Saha, professional artist, professional artist from Kolkata, West Bengal. A mixture of sharp and blurred outlines, almost invisible brushstrokes and strong shadows and highlights give form to my nature landscapes. The colours blend together on the canvas in almost hypnotic patterns, forming sand, clouds, water or sky wherever it is needed. I believe that life without rhythm and flow, colour and theme is meaningless. My quest is to delve into this eternal rhythm and find meanings that
give clarity to shapes and form. I am inspired by various forms of traditional and ancient Indian art. My recent journey in art is to explore the Varanasi ghats and the auspicious atmosphere of Varanasi. I  have been working with the aim for almost more than 15 years now to bring the peace and blessedness of the Varanasi ghats and capturing them in my canvas. I 
have done my Bachelor of Visual Arts
(B.V.A) 1st class from Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata, West Bengal and have participated in many national and International shows and won awards. My paintings have found their place in several private collections in India and abroad.
