Ramesh Rana is an accomplished Indian painter with a B.F.A. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and an M.A. in Painting from Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Trained in art appreciation and commercial art, he has held eight solo exhibitions in New Delhi, including at Triveni Art Gallery, Lalit Kala Gallery, Theme Gallery, and AIFACS Gallery. He has also participated in numerous two-person and group shows across India and has been a regular contributor to the annual exhibitions of AIFACS and Sahitya Kala Parishad.An active participant in artists’ camps, Ramesh Rana has contributed to events organized by the West Zone Cultural Centre, U.P. State Lalit Kala Academy, AIFACS, Sahitya Kala Parishad, and the Indian Academy of Fine Arts. His work has been recognized with multiple awards, including first prizes in painting and creative writing, an AIFACS scholarship, and the State Teacher Award from the Delhi Government.
