Manoo Mittal

Manoo Mittal is an artist from Gurgaon (Delhi NCR). She had her interests in the field of arts since childhood. Her first participation in an inter school art competition at the age of 9, fetched her first prize in Faridabad District (Haryana). Since then, she had participated and won many awards and certificates in various art competitions, in her school days.


Manoo is a multi-talented personality. She has a straight-forward and upright approach towards life, where she refuses to settle for only one aspect of life. She strongly believes that 'Variety is the spice of life', which  clearly reflects in her interests and skills in varied fields, be it dancing, fine-arts, yoga, maths, architecture, numerology, astrology and spirituality.


After completing school, life took her in pursuing MCA, where she worked as a website developer for 12 years. But, her love for arts brought her back to it and she said goodbye to the routine life of a developer, only few years ago. She keeps seeing and acquiring skills in the field of art and is mainly self-taught. Her interests in various fields, reflects in her artworks as well, wherein each work is unique with a different flavor.

 

She had her hands colored in creating landscapes, abstract art,  contemporary, surreal, mandalas and modern Kalamkaari. She is never reluctant in incorporating different art forms and styles into her work, even at the expense of not creating her own unique style. But is hopeful to have her mark in the art world, by keeping her hunger for diversity, creativity, the power of imagination,mystery, her own unique ways and ideologies intact. Her work exudes beauty with fine and intricate patterns, forms and play of colors.


She believes that Mandalas represent wholeness in cosmic diagram, that can remind individuals of their relation to infinity. She has managed to create a few colorful and beautiful  Mandalas with some intricate work and patterns. She finds creating mandalas as a meditative and soothing process.


Manoo has displayed her artworks in few group art exhibitions in India and abroad. She had participated in various workshops and camps to enhance her skills and experience. She has also worked in couple of private wall art projects in the Gurgaon city.
