Artistagram 2021

Artistagram is an idea conceived by Uchaan to bring together the curated collection of masterpieces from a vast array of artists, with distinct backgrounds and signatures, all under one roof. The annual showcase is an initiative to amalgamate the artists -contemporary and classic,  providing them  a platform to exhibit their varied forms of art and ideas. Artistagram 2021 builds upon the new global reality ushered in by the COVID-19 pandemic. In this cultural metamorphosis, each work is a source of inspiration , truly built on the raw emotions of the artists, building perspective for the future. It also reflects the role art and artists play in the process of change. We visualise Artistagram as a facilitator in engaging diverse audiences with different art forms and fostering a meaningful discourse. The notions of the old and the young; the hope for a resplendent future and the reveries of the time gone by, find their raw and meaningful expression. With the omnipresent backdrop of a global pandemic, Uchaan turned to its artists to challenge and reassess values and relevance in contemporary culture, and put together this event to exhibit the artworks they believe is vital to be experienced in the current era. These individual works are the jewelled crowns of these chosen artistes and a  superlative expression of their skills. The fourth edition of Artistagram has been recalibrated to encourage global collaborations and versatile modes of presentation, online and offline alike.
