Zakir Husain Shaikh 

The artist, is said to be one of the most remarkable artists born on the Indian soil with the pen-name 'Tanha', which means 'lonely' in the Urdu language. He has set out to astonish the art lovers
with his remarkable artwork based on islamic as well as social themes. 

His work is generally a combination of surrealism , realism , abstractism and impressionism that is very difficult . This gives him a unique identification among artists. 
He is an artist whose works are born out of his day to day experiences, nature and environment. He is always engrossed in his work. 

Zakir thanks to Allah for blessing him with art. "I paint my day to day experience" says the artist. His depictions are very powerful and a good food for thought.
