Born in Delhi, Vijender Sharma is an artist of today's era. Fantasies, mythical characters and sacred epics have always been a part of his inspiration. His surrealist artworks depicting a striking and expressive scenario are like a sheer veil between the human reality and spiritual fantasy. He received his formal education in the M.F.A. (Painting) with Distinction in 1990 from College of Art, New Delhi. He has conducted a number of solo Exhibitions since 1989 and has participated in innumerable Group shows. His artworks are a part of several private collections all across India and abroad.
