Born in 1993, Vernika Singh has been practicing in New Delhi since 2015. Her works revolve around the idea of ‘dynamism’.
As a sculptor, Singh is focused on catching the sense of movement into her works. Her liking for flow and movement went up a notch when she started making installations. The subject of these installations ‘balloon’ was so different yet so similar. She saw floating balloon as one would a dancing human figure, the way wind moves it in space talks so much about dynamism.
