Shubhra Jain is a promising artist, working primarily in acrylic colours. She produces a unique and contemporary style that touches the soul. Her abstract series take viewer into a meditative zone. She is deeply inspired by the sea, galaxies, cosmic world and wild weather.
Currently working on her Blessings series.  In this entire series she is using stippling technique, in which small, distinct dots of color are applied in patterns to form an image. the dots are made of  colour, applied with various household tools; the denser the dots, the darker the apparent shade—or lighter, if the pigment is lighter than the surface.
Blessings series is inspired by the story of Sadako.  In Japan, paper cranes are symbol of love, faith and peace. If you fold 1000 paper cranes all your wishes will come true. Thus, the cluster of perfect balance of blessings and actions, granted by faith (represented by a crane here) in our actions. When we have faith, all our wishes come true.
