My name is Shreya Singh. I embarked on my artistic journey at GD Goenka University, where I pursued aBachelor’s degree in Fine Arts. Since childhood, I havelived with epilepsy—a challenge that often tested my confidence and strength. But through the world of painting, I found not just a creative outlet, but a source of empowerment and healing. Art became my voice, my refuge, and my strength. Today, having completed my BFA, I continue to follow my passion, committed to growing as an artist and sharing my story through every brushstroke , For me, art is a dance between structure and freedom. I begin with simple geometric forms, but soon, the colors refuse to stay confined—they spill beyond the lines, flowing effortlessly. Watercolors on paper are my chosen medium, allowing me to balance motion and stillness, presence and absence. Blank spaces breathe alongside delicate layers, while floating dots and bars drift like untethered thoughts—light, weightless, ever-moving. Though abstract in appearance, each piece is a mirror of my inner world—an honest translation of emotion, memory, and experience. Through this visual language, I invite viewers to pause, reflect, andstep into their own quiet spaces between the seen and unseen.
