Samba Prasad Biswas is an abstract painter from Kolkata, W.B. Samba draws inspiration from geometric abstraction, blending shapes and colours dynamically to create a rhythmic, vibrant space that emanates positivity.  Samba received a B.F.A. and M.F.A. in Painting from the Faculty of Visual Arts at Rabindra Bharati University, Kolkata, securing the top positions in both cases.  He has been working for more than a decade and has exhibited nationally and globally, including at AIFACS, Birla Academy, CIMA Gallery, KCC (Emami Arts), National Museum Colombia, Raum Art Center (Seoul, South Korea), etc. Samba received various prestigious awards, including Rabindra Bharati University Gold Medals, the Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation State Award, the Eastern Foundation of Art & Culture Award, the W.B. Govt. Charukala Merit Award, The Art Association (TAA) Honorary membership, Geneva, Switzerland etc. His artworks are in several collections in India and abroad.
