Rekha Gupta is an emerging visual artist based in Noida. Her art is an expression of the everyday, ordinary themes. She derives her thoughts from nature. She likes to sketch everyday, and capture normal activities of other people in those sketches. She is driven by the perspective of drawing people in their natural act. Manifesting her outlook of the world into her paintings has always been the idea and fun for her. She finds visual manifestation of rhythm, space and form challenging, like to bring that in her work through abstract and realistic forms. She is intrigued by the natural forms and elements around to create an atmosphere and express herself. The forms and figures in my paintings blend reality and illusions to create individual impressions, individual messages and lessons. It is my struggle and journey to explore deeper ideas, meanings with myself and also to connect through these signs and symbols.

 Rekha Gupta is a visual artist and graphic designer based in Delhi NCR. She has completed a four years Diploma in Fine Arts from Delhi Collage of Art (2022) and is Currently Pursuing BFA from Delhi Collage of Art, New Delhi. She has completed a Diploma Graphic Design and Book Illustration from Shankar’s Academy of Art and Book Illustrations, New Delhi (1997). She has participated in many group exhibitions including the ones in Lalit Kala Akademi (2019, 2020,2022), The Stainless Gallery (2020), NIV Art Centre, New Delhi (2020), NGMA Delhi on occasion of International Women’s Day, Jawahar Art Gallery, Jaipur (2022); Awadh Art Festival, Delhi (2023), Bombay Art Society (2023), AIFACS (2023) and Lalit Kala Akademi (2024).
