Rahat Kazmi

Rahat Kazmi is a passionate Abstract Artist who likes to play with a range of colours and combination of colours for her paintings. In almost all of her paintings one can find a deep mixture of various colours embedded together to create the artwork. Mostly using knife work, her paintings are usually heavily textured. 

Apart from textured artwork Rahat is also passionate about fluid form of art wherein she takes the clues from universe and galaxies and combination of earth, sun and life to create her artwork. Reflections and eternal energy is what she strives to create in her artwork.

Born in 1984 in Indore, Rahat has been an artist since her childhood. It is in 2010 when she took art as a full time profession. Till date her art has been displayed and exhibited at various Art Galleries like Jehangir Art Gallery, Cymroza Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Hotel Taj Palace, Exhibition in Jahanuma Palace Bhopal, Art Exhibition at World Trade Centre, Pritam Lal Dua Sabhagrah Art Gallery Indore, ICA Art Gallery Jaipur etc.  She has also participated in more than 30 group shows till date. Her paintings have also been internationally sold in USA, Europe and Canada. She also works keenly with architects and interior decorators and provides them with suitable suggestions and choices for their projects.

In her words, ART IS FREEDOM. She continuously aims to improve her skills and capture something that does not constitute only visual meaning but eternal bliss which is synonym with her feeling for the subject of abstract art. Hence she does not want to restrict herself to a single type of Artwork. Her artwork apart from heavily textured artwork, fluid artwork also includes layered artwork and depiction of Dancing Ballerinas in abstract form.
