As an artist, I have come to love freedom – freedom of which the kite is a dynamic symbol in my creation.
Born in 1964, presently residing in Gurgaon, Haryana. I did my bachelor of Fine Arts from Patna, Bihar. Participated in many group shows and did 7 solo shows in India. I have received several awards and honors for contribution to Indian Art like -  State Award Govt. of Bihar; Annual exhibition of College of Art and Craft, Patna ; Power Grid ; PUCUS, Patna ; Bihar Kala Shree,Patna ; Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar ; Honored by Shilpi Sangh, Patna ; Women Art Foundation, Mumbai ; Kumud Sharma Award (Senior Artist), Art & Culture Dept. ,Patna; 86th Annual All India Art Exhibition 2013, AIFACS, New Delhi. Also I recently participated in “The New Florence Biennale” at Florence, Italy 2013. My works can be found in several private and public collections in India & Abroad.
