Neeraj Sharma

Neeraj Sharma is a Delhi base artist known for his fusion art style – a blend of tradition and modernity. His series on ‘Celebration’ captures rhythm, music and love withtraditional and modern musical instruments blending beautifully into human figures, immersed in music. The hues of colors, on textured canvas, add to the celebratorymood. The artist works in all mediums. The ‘Celebration’ series is in acrylic. Neeraj’s work have been displayed at exhibits across the country and very recently at the India Art Festival 2019. His paintings have made to art collectors in India and abroad. Neeraj’s works stands out for its unique concepts. While passionate for art, Neeraj is also a strong advocate for social issues. A father of  two girls, he stands for the cause of girl child. His series of six paintings, that creatively capture the aspirations of a little girl who wants to fly high to be a pilot, adorn the ‘Maharaja Lounge’ of Air India, at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi. A Manager at Air India, Neeraj dedicates most of his after office time to art. He works in charcoal, dry crayons, water colours and oils, and mix media. His portraits, in various  mediums, are notable. An avid reader of comics in his childhood, Neeraj’s strength in caricature is apparent. Neeraj has also created a series of warship models.Recognized for his work, Neeraj has been a jury at art events organized by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. He has mentored students from leading art universities atworkshops on designing campaign material and logos on polio eradication and childhood vaccination campaigns.
