Born on 19th May 1978 Dipankar, a self taught artist from Kolkata was keen about visual art since the time he was a child. In his growing years both as a human being and an artist Dipankar participated in art events in and around his home turf. He finally took the plunge into the vibrant field of art and craft in Kolkata. Dipankar compositions are mostly based on figurative and cultural heritage of India, depicting daily moods and movements and quintessential human form his canvases are filled with vibrant hues effortlessly grabbing attention, aptly named as the Indian Saga.
