When someone first called me 'the artist with an MBA' , I didn 't know how to react. It' s a world far away from the popular notion of a painter in a garret. But over the years, I realized the phrase is not inaccurate. Work and holidays take me to places far and wide and there is much drama and emotion in boardrooms and markets. As an artist, I revel in all of it. Be it chaotic city streets, vibrant festivals, mesmerizing architecture, or just the quaint house down the road, India and the world always fascinates. When one pauses for a moment to soak in the frame, it translates into sheer beauty! One may not actively seek it but acknowledging it when it hits you, sometimes even just momentarily, is a gift to be cherished or well painted.

Acrylic, watercolour, pen/ink and gouache are my mediums of choice. For over ten years now, I’ ve been exhibiting and shipping my paintings across the world. Some of my most enjoyable work have been custom painting engagements where I build a painting after weeks of conversation with clients on what they want expressed.
