Asavari Karmakar

Born in Mumbai, Asavari Karmarkar grew up in Delhi and currently resides in Noida. She completed a 3-year diploma in commercial arts in the year 1986, following which she worked in various ad agencies, also taking up freelance work. She worked as a graphic artist at the Central Production Centre, Doordarshan TV (the national broadcasting agency) for a decade till 2000, after which she started working on her independent art
