The Sounds Of Silence.... Silence, the language of the taciturn, the irrefutable argument of the speechless, the friend of the tranquil and the strength of the calm. Silence, the blessed art of conversations with self. Get in touch with the silence within yourself to learn that every silence
conveys a meaning, every silence talks and every silence sounds the bell of expression. Listen to silence, it says a lot.

The use of the phrase "sound of silence" seems like an oxymoron. How can silence have a specific sound if silence is supposed to be the absence of sound? Plus, the actual dictionary definition of

"silence" is "complete absence of sound". Well, we live in a world where there is almost always sound around us, yet silence can have our brain desperately trying to fill in the blanks with some thoughts and emotions, those that can lead us to myriad auditory as well as visual hallucinations. Since silence also has an inaudible sound, the pictures under this theme provides the viewers with

an abstract illustration of the scene's ambience creating an understanding with the viewer. Thereby, implying the very observable and relatable experience of being in complete silence, yet being able to talk to oneself or the ambience itself.

A silent talk to oneself in the third-person when walking a mile, constitutes a relatively effortless form of self-control because a silent reflective talk on a long undisturbed path leads people to think about

their own self similar to how they think about others, thereby providing them with the psychological distance needed to facilitate self-control. Listen to the silence when you walk the mile, it will say a lot.
