Poonam Bhatnagar

Poonam Bhatnagar is a Delhi based self-taught painting artist having degree is textile designing. She used to paint as a hobby for many years but now has been involved in the professional art market from the last 8 years. She is the owner of Antrang Art Gallery based in North Delhi which is frequently visited by art lovers and art collectors. Many of her artworks are highlighted in leading newspapers and magazines. She has been a part of multiple exhibitions in Delhi-NCR and enthusiastically organizes workshops in her Art Gallery.

Poonam strongly believes art is not art if it does not have any purpose. She creates painting with a positive mindset so that it generates a positive vibe where it is displayed.  She has a versatile taste which reflects in her paintings belonging to different genres and mediums. Sometime she finds herself working on portraits for multiple days then suddenly switches to abstract or nature as her heart desires. Her primary inspiration stems from nature and its beauty is highlighted in the originality and positivity of her work. She significantly values the originality of a painting and prioritizes it as a starting point of any upcoming artwork. Owing to her dedication towards creating paintings through her imagination she has now come up with an original style known as “webcast” which she developed gradually throughout her art journey. Webcast mostly includes white black and grey with occasional use of other colors to give depth and meaning to her painting. Due to webcast being her signature style, it is very popular among her customers looking for interior paintings. She strongly believes that an artist first creates art for the fulfillment of soul that brings joy and inner satisfaction followed by public appreciation.
