Alisha Thakur

Born in Faridabad, Haryana. Alisha is an interior architect and an artist by qualification from Delhi and London. She started her journey with arts in 2015. For Alisha, art is a language that bridges the gap between observing reality and the thoughts within.

Through the early years of studying design, Alisha has been fascinated with the patterns, textures, colours, blends and design that naturally exist around us. A lot of her inspiration’s driven from observing scenarios, daily activities, details, nature and life events happening around her. She mainly works with acrylics as her medium. There’s a sense of happiness, peace and serenity in her works.

In Alisha’s words “Coming to the canvas is always a conscious and beautiful time. It’s a place where I can pour out everything; my observations, my feelings, my insecurities and I know it will all come together to create a beautiful new reality that transcends into my creative journey. If anything, my art is place for me to communicate and express myself better.”
